Rosie is a policy expert dedicated to a fair, worker-led transition to renewable energy. She joins Uplift from Friends of the Earth Scotland, where she campaigned alongside trade unions on public ownership and a proper transition plan for the North Sea. Prior to that, she worked with a variety of social justice organisations in Scotland, providing historical research and policy support. Rosie holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Glasgow that examined left-wing political spaces in 1980s Scotland. Outside of work she likes to write on that same subject.
