Jasmine Wakefield

Jasmine, a scientist dedicated to equitable solutions, advocates for merging scientific rigor with social justice. With a PhD from The University of Sheffield, she has broad expertise in researching climate change impacts, ranging from extreme events in the Arctic to carbon cycling in British upland ecosystems. Jasmine has contributed articles, talks, and panel discussions on climate change science, nature-based justice lessons, and “climate grief”. She also holds BSc and MPhil degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Biology from The University of Manchester.
